Jetking Infotrain Ltd

Jetking Infotrain Ltd has informed BSE that the following:

“A. Jetking has been awarded a contract worth over Rs. 33 crores by the Government of Gujarat to train students in Computer Hardware and Networking. This contract will be executed over the next three years partly through our business partners and partly by us. This contract definitely has opened up a whole new business opportunity for jetking.

B. Jetking has initiated an ambitious project of digitizing the JCHNE content. Once this project is completed, it will ensure that training is delivered in a uniform manner across the Jetking centers. The benefits of this project will:

a. Reduce dependence on senior faculties.

b. Reduce Batch delay thereby minimizing revenue leakage.

c. Faculties can now be trained in house with the help of this software thereby reducing the time required to upgrade the faculties for the higher modules.

C. Jetking in association with Sikkim Manipal University (SMU) has launched a 3 year degree program BSc -IT (IMS). So far 15 centers are active and we have enrolled 28 students for this program.

D. Jetking has also launched a practical intensive course titled “Jetking Intensive Networking Course”. The salient features of this course are:

a. 100% practical oriented course

b. Once the student completes the course, he will be employed at L2 level rather than at trainee level as is happening right now.

c. The course has been designed after doing an intensive research of over 50 companies and their common problems vis-a-vis jetking students.

d. This will be the only course in India which has minimum salary guarantee.

E. Jetking enters Vietnam

Information Technology hardware and networking training provider Jetking has tied up with a local university in this Southeast Asian country. Jetking Infotrain signed an international agreement with FPT University in Hanoi to set up ‘Jetking Learning Centers’ for capacity building and talent development in Vietnam.”

Indian Overseas Bank – increase of the (BPLR)

Indian Overseas Bank has informed the Exchange that the Board of Directors, in the meeting held on December 03, 2011, has approved the increase of the Benchmark Prime Lending Rate (BPLR) of the Bank by 50 basis points from existing 15.00% to 15.50% with effect from December 05, 2011.

400 crore Citibank fraud at Gurgaon branch

Shivraj Puri, Relationship Manager at Citibank in Gurgaon is alleged to be involved in a 400 crore scam. Puri is said to have siphoned large sums of money from HNI accounts and Corporate clients and diverted these funds into accounts opened by him with with several brokerage firms such as Religare Securities and Bonanza Portfolio.
